Patient care, traveling, continuing medical education, and family life keep locum tenens physicians and non-physician providers
busy. Amid all their professional and personal responsibilities, many took the time to thank the people who keep them happily
working: their recruiters. While the practitioners are the faces of the industry, they couldn't do their jobs successfully
without these people behind the scenes. Every year, we bring these folks into the limelight to celebrate their achievements
and applaud their dedication.The recruiters honored in our fifth annual showcase accommodate unorthodox locum tenens schedules, follow up with providers
after they reach their destinations, understand the intricacies involved in practicing medicine, make the credentialing process
as painless as possible, and resolve issues during off-hours. While recruiters' knowledge of the industry is important, their
personalities are just as important. One physician notes that his recruiter "has become family." A certified registered nurse
anesthetist appreciates her recruiter's "positive, radiant spirit." Honesty, patience, and a sense of humor are also some
